Utah’s Greatest Hits

Did this one in 2004.  No weaknesses.  Saw and did more great stuff in less time than any vacation I ever took.  10 parks total.

Day 1 -
Begin Las Vegas.  Tip: Get there the night before and enjoy one of many incredible buffet breakfasts in the morning.  Always good to start a trip with a feast. 
Destination: Zion NP. 
Accomodation: Stay at Zion Lodge or just outside the park.

Hummering through Hell’s Revenge

When visiting Arches NP folks staying for more than 10 minutes will normally spend the night in the small town of Moab.  Moab has gone from dot on the map thirty years ago to being a sought out recreation mecca.  But along with rafting on the Colorado and serious mountain biking I recommend taking a Hummer tour through an area called Hell’s Revenge.
